MECC E-Learning Packages

There are two HEE MECC eLearning packages. Both resources are intended for anyone who has contact with people to Make Every Contact Count and develop public health knowledge. The one you access will depend on the geographical area you are in.

The Wessex, Thames Valley, Kent, Surrey and Sussex programme consists of four sessions. The West Midlands approach consists of two e-learning sessions and additional resources around “MECC Plus for Integrated Care".

Obesity E-Learning

This programme introduces obesity and its implications for health, provides a knowledge base on identification of unhealthy weight and risk factors for weight gain, managing obesity, and learning on guiding and enabling behaviour change.

Mindfulness E-Learning

Mindfulness is an approach to wellbeing that may be appropriate for people to adopt as part of their self-care. This module aims to increase awareness and understanding of what mindfulness is and enable learners to appreciate its use and benefits to individuals.
